The much talked about Nars Sheer Matte Foundation is one of my favorite foundations. This foundation applies easily and blends fairly quickly and effortlessly. Nars Sheer Matte is a Matte meduim coverage foundation but not overly matte..a sheer matte.  Nars Sheer Matte feels nice and light on the skin, skin can breathe and doesn’t seem to break out my combo type skin. The price for this foundation runs at about $42.00 for this 1fl oz bottle.

My main skin shade based off the MAC Color selection is NC15-NC20 (in the winter months) and I can wear NARS Sheer Matte in Shade Deauville.

Seems to sink perfectly into my skin coloring of that shade choice.

Overall:the NARS Sheer Matte is quite a nice foundation for combination/oily skin types. As I mentioned this foundation never broke me out nor did it feel heavy and yucky after a full day wear of about 8 hours. I would definitely repurchase the NARS Sheer Matte Foundation. I actually preferNARS Sheer Matte over NARS Sheer Glow foundation for my skin type.

(Obviously, Deauville is too light for my tanned skin right now)
